De Vrouwe Elisabeth is a historic Dutch Barge built in 1898 and renovated beautifully by Pea Green Studio. She has had a complete exterior and interior renovation. The finished Barge has a simple, Scandinavian influenced interior with a focus on the space-saving layout, allowing for plenty of hidden storage and flexible use of rooms.

She was dry docked in 2020 when she underwent extensive restoration works costing £45,000 as the previous owners wanted to invest in the future of this classic boat. The engine was overhauled by Marine Services. The hull was fully shot blasted and she underwent full hull repairs to below and above waterline. Elisabeth is in incredible condition and she does not have to come out of water again till 2030 as insurers were satisfied that  the full shot blasting of hull and full paintwork job covered a ten-year period.

Elisabeth was originally a working boat delivering peat around Holland. As she is considered a classic and historic working boat her moorings do not attract VAT. Elisabeth is a wonderful and luxurious boat to live on. Onboard is full of mod cons such as a full-size dishwasher, washing machine, power shower, filter water any many more home comforts. She comes furnished and with all the brass fixtures and fittings.
