Wings of the Morning - £68,500
Wings of the Morning is a delightful 50ft long, narrowboat from March 1998 on a fully transferable, residential, mooring at Limehouse marina in central London.
Built by the renowned yard, Ledgard Bridge Boat Company, whose craft are known as the jaguars of narrowboats and owned for the past 23 years by a highly experienced boater. Blacked and surveyed in 2022 with all recommended works completed.
In 2023, a stylish, contemporary new bathroom/wet room was installed and new engineered timber flooring has just been fitted throughout (partly photographed).
Properly maintained, she is a turnkey boat, ready to live aboard and enjoy life afloat immediately. Her light, welcoming saloon features a bubble diesel stove with a back boiler heating three radiators so no more messy solid fuel and trying to light fires. The comfortable seating in the saloon is perfect for dining or relaxing and converts into a further double bed for guests.
Her galley has a full size cooker and four burner hob which is just three years old and an ultra "cool" Fender fridge, good sized sink and excellent work top space and storage.
An electric immersion heater supplies hot water and her new owner will enjoy the convenience of a pump out toilet.
The bedroom is located in the stern with wardrobe hanging space at either end of the double bed and further stowage areas feature throughout the boat.
As previously mentioned, Wings of the Morning has been very well maintained and the owner installed a new aluminium water tank six years ago and a new cratch cover three years ago.
