Marketing Executive (Digital Content Creator) at Sawley Waterside & Marina

Do you love telling stories? Creating content that inspires? Bringing brands to life in a way that really connects with people? We’re looking for a confident, creative Marketing Executive (Digital Content Creator) to join our fast-paced Sales & Marketing team and play a key role in delivering Aquavista’s growth plans.

What's the role

This is a hands-on, content-led role with real ownership, visibility, and impact. You’ll create inspiring digital content that brings the Aquavista brand to life, telling the story of freedom, connection, and escape that defines life by the water. Your audience is our “freedom seekers” - people looking to slow down, escape the rat race, downsize and live on a boat, or enjoy boat ownership in their leisure time - and you’ll engage them across social media, email, web, and on-the-ground marina activity in a way that inspires, builds trust, and drives connection. You’ll bring creativity, energy, and attention to detail to everything you do - from scrolling-stopping social content and beautifully crafted emails to event promotion and campaign support. You’ll see the direct impact of your work and play a pivotal role in growing our brand.

  • Has a sharp eye for detail and quality, with strong copywriting skills and a good eye for design.

  • Is self-motivated and hands-on, able to work independently while collaborating effectively as part of a team.
  • Is highly organised with excellent time management, able to juggle multiple projects and meet deadlines.
  • Is flexible, resilient, and adaptable to changing priorities.
  • Has genuine passion, enthusiasm, and a can-do attitude
  • Holds a full driving licence and has access to a car, with flexibility to travel to marinas when required
  • Bonus points if you love boating, life by the water, and the great outdoors.

What you’ll be doing

  • Take the lead day-to-day on planning, creating and publishing compelling content across social media, email, and web that showcases why life is better by the water and highlights the benefits of choosing Aquavista, driving awareness, and trust with our audience.
  • Champion the Aquavista brand across all channels, ensuring everything is on-brand, high-quality, and consistent to strengthen brand recognition and credibility.
  • Support marina and boat sales teams with campaigns, activations, and locally relevant social content that helps generate enquiries.
  • Help promote Marina Open Days and key events like Crick Boat Show, contributing to attendance, participation, and overall event success.
  • Track, report on, and analyse performance, providing insights and optimising content and campaigns to maximise audience impact and business results.

Salary:

  • £32,000 per year
