The biggest and best event in the canal boat calendar returns in May and you won’t want to miss joining us at our Tillers & Tankards festival village by the quayside. We had such a great time last year, we’re bringing it back for 2024… and it’s even bigger and better!

We’ll all be there to welcome you at our home marina Crick to bring you a little bit of the Aquavista community spirit and waterside magic that you find at our 29 unique and special places by the water.

Come and celebrate waterside life with us, you’re all invited!

Here's a snippet from last year to give you an idea of what to expect.

This year’s four-day show kicks off on Friday 24th May with a Trade & Preview Day. The show then opens to the public on Saturday 25th May to Monday 27th May.

Our Tillers & Tankards festival village will be open on all 4 days from 10am.

What’s happening in our festival village?

Entertainment Schedule

We’ll be celebrating with some foot stompingly fabulous live music from 10.30am on all four days in our Tillers & Tankards music marquee.

Friday 24th May

Vo Fletcher - Vo has played with an abundance of fine musicians. These include The Applejacks, Brent Ford & The Nylons, The Albion Morris Band, Nigel Kennedy, Tom Leary, Rik Mayall, Dave Swarbrick, David Lowe (Touch & Go), Ray Jackson (Lindisfarne) and he’s currently a member of The Ric Sanders Trio.

Tommy Leary - If you visited us at the show last year, you'll have enjoyed Tom's amazing fiddle playing. And we're so pleased to be welcoming him back for this years show. Tom is one of the UK’s best exponents of the fiddle and his talents have adorned some of our most famous band names. Fiddle Player with Joe Brown, Tom has also graced bands such as Lindisfarne, and Folk Rock Supergroup Feast of Fiddles whose members from time to time are musicians from Fairport Convention, Steeleye Span and Show Of Hands.

Dave Trivett - Our very own Marina Manager, Dave will also be joining Vo and Tommy on guitar and vocals.

Saturday 25th May

The Melody Room Jazz Band - The Melody Room Jazz Band specialise in joyous upbeat traditional Jazz and swing music. They’re guaranteed to lift the mood and get those toes tapping.

Vo, Tommy & Triv will also be back on the Saturday.

Sunday 26th May

Leigh Chambers - Leigh’s musical background includes playing guitar in various classic rock cover bands, playing banjo, mandolin and lap steel in bluegrass, blues and country bands as well as solo acoustic performances of pop/rock songs.

Eba Sallah - Eba, also known as The Reggae Man will be switching things up on the Sunday with some reggae music with soul and pop appeal, including UB40, Bob Marley, Eddy Grant, plus many more.

Vo Fletcher will also be joining us again on Sunday.

Monday 27th May

Carl North - Combining the raw soul of Americana and the foot stomping tempo of Rhythm & Blues, Carl North has spent the last few years pre covid performing at countless venues and festivals across the UK. Generating his own kind of buzz both solo and with the band, The Lonely Hearts and Lucille, Carl has had the pleasure to perform with a number of Americana giants such as Pokey Lafarge, Matt Anderson and C.W Stoneking, whilst taking part in the UK blues challenge, Glastonbury and the great British Blues Festival.

Leigh Chambers and Tommy Leary will also be back on the Monday

And to carry on the music celebrations, we’re delighted to be sponsoring the main Music Festival too, so make sure you head to the Crick Tavern in the evening to see the likes of Young Elton and Fleetwood Bac.
