The famous Caen Hill Locks are just a short distance away, and are one of the most recognisable and impressive features of the Kennet and Avon Canal.

Devizes is a lively market town with plenty to explore. Its weekly Thursday market offers local produce, crafts, and gifts, while attractions such as the Wiltshire Museum and Devizes Castle give an insight into the area’s history.

For days out further afield, Avebury Stone Circle and Silbury Hill are close by, and the historic city of Bath is within easy reach, offering the Roman Baths, Bath Abbey and a wide range of shops and restaurants.
